MEET THE CHEF/OWNER
I have spent a significant part of my life in Connecticut, where my love for cooking began and blossomed. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work alongside a professional chef at a local catering business, which ignited my passion for the culinary arts. After completing my service in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, I returned to Connecticut and began my career as a professional chef. I had the privilege of working with a 5-star restaurant group, where I honed my skills and gained invaluable experience in various cuisines, including Italian, Kosher, Asian, French, and Southwestern.
In 1998, I was the Executive Chef of one of Connecticut's premier caterers, where I continued to refine my craft and create exceptional culinary experiences for clients. Using my experience in gourmet cooking and catering, my wife, Lynn, and I opened Chives Innovative Catering & Gourmet To Go in November 2001 in Connecticut, which became recognized as one of the area's premier caterers.
In 2008, my family and I relocated to Saint Petersburg, Florida, and we opened our own catering business, Chives Innovative Catering. Our dedication to exceptional service and exquisite cuisine quickly earned us a reputation as one of the area's top caterers.
Today, I continue to pursue my passion for cooking and strive to create unforgettable dining experiences for my clients.
